United States: The side effect known as “Ozempic-foot” presents itself after using prescription weight loss drugs like Ozempic, according to medical reports.

A widely prescribed weight-loss medication triggers various unwanted side effects, such as extreme skin sagging that may target the top section of foot skin, as per information documented by Daily Mail.

Dr. Barry Weintraub informed the Daily Mail that the tops of feet can experience severe fat content and water retention loss due to drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro and their semaglutide class because this sensitive layer of subcutaneous fat exists in this area.

Multiple observers of the entertainment scene have noticed signs of dreaded ‘Ozempic feet’ on well-known figures based on a Daily Mail report.

TV personality Sharon Osbourne sent faces across social media when she posted an image with her grandson due to concerns about the condition of her feet, although she lost 42 pounds on the drug, per a Daily Mail report.

Fans agreed that Ozempic usage rather than Osbourne’s 72 years was responsible for her wrinkled feet based on photos published by the Daily Mail.

Body shape watcher fans directed their scrutiny at Oprah Winfrey, 71, after she publicly revealed her weight-loss drug usage during a television segment last year.

The Daily Mail reported that online critics found foot symptoms on the former Weight Watchers board member, who they thought had the same foot drooping connected to suspected Ozempic side effects.

A variety of public figures, including Elon Musk, Amy Schumer, and Pennsylvania Senator Jon Fetterman, have adopted the GL-P1 drug series.
